Kieron Cook

M.S. Student in Architecture

Kieron is a 5th year IUG student at Penn State. He will graduate with a Bachelors of Architecture degree in May’24, and a Masters of Science in Architecture degree in May’25. Kieron’s interest in pursuing a graduate degree started after taking our lab member, PhD candidate Özgüç B. Çapunaman’s Architectural Robotics class in Fall 2022, in which he worked on a project to robotically shape kinetic sand. Kieron’s MS thesis research stems out from this project. He is developing materials and workflows for robotically-shaped reconfigurable and reusable sand formworks for casting and 3D printing.
